Broadband service levels
The following table shows the levels of service we can offer and their costs. The service names are guidance on the level that we suggest is suitable to different classes of user, but you can sign up for the level you want.

Garboldisham Broadband is not VAT registered, so there is no VAT component in these prices.
Monthly rentals above are for connections to up to 5 PCs. Where a larger network is served, an additional £15 per month for each further group of 5 PCs is payable.
Installation is being subsidised from our EEDA grant for an initial period. The full cost of installation is £223.25. Where service is cancelled in the first 12 months, a cancellation charge equal to the installation subsidy given will be payable.
All installation costs assume a straightforward installation. If the pre-installation survey reveals unusual difficulties, we may have to quote a higher figure. You will have the option to cancel your request for service if this happens.
As a community-based organisation, we hope to provide our users with the technical support they need to get the service going and keep it running, without charge.
The dial-up service is available from any telephone line. It is intended to provide backup in the event of broadband network problems, or if you are away from home and want to access the Internet. It is a "pay-as-you-go" service and any call charges are your responsibility.
We are not including web space in the standard package. Some space is available to local organisations and businesses on the village web site.
